Well, I guess you decided to click on the link that is a picture of a T.V. with an X through it and doing so has  brought you here --  Ross's Kill Your Television Page.  I call it that, because that is what I have done -- effectively killed my T.V.   I didn't do anything like blow it away with a shotgun or plastic explosives  -  just had my television cable service stopped.  This caused me a savings of $80.00 a month, which makes me feel as if I am earning that $80.00 at a part time job at which my sole duty is reading library books.  Even though I have spent more time than I care to talley staring at the tube, I have been tube-free now for about one month without withdrawal symptoms.  In just that one short month, by getting suggestions from various friends and searching the net, I have enriched my life immeasurably and would like to share the titles and a brief description of some of these books with the world.  Just click on the titles in the menu to the left and information about the book will appear in this frame.
