Medication Organization System
O ne of my clients who has severe diabetic neuropathy and who needs to take eight different medications a day, found it impossible to use any kind of pill organizer I gave him.   I did finally figure out a method that would work for him.   I purchased a package of 8 Glad ware mini Round containers -- small round tupperware-like containers, about 3" high and 3" in diameter.  Using Adobe Illustrator, I created a page that has the numbers 1 through 8 in 200 point font, each one enclosed in a black circle just slightly smaller than the lids of the glad ware containers.
Then I printed this page on peel-and-stick label paper, cut out the circles, and affixed each one to the lid of one of the containers   Then with Microsoft Word, I created a list numbered 1 through 8 , with the pertinent information, the client needed to know about each medication.   I put the word file in 100 point font (size client needed to read without magnification) and displayed it in landscape style.   I then put each page in clear envelops and put it all in a 3-ring binder.  Finally, I made a small box out of cardboard, just big enough to hold the eight containers in two rows of four.
