Graph Paper
Hey
Folks,
One of the O&M listers suggested that I create some bold
Graph paper, so I did by just using the Table function in Microsoft
Word.
I have created a three page document, with each the cells on page one
being 1/4 inch, two being .4 inch and three 1/2 inch. One can
manipulate the size of the squares and the thickness of the lines from
the Table Properties diologue box. You can download it HERE (Either right-click to
download it to your hard-drive or
left-click to see it in your browser)
Here is how you can manipulate the size of the cells in the graph paper:
- From the table menu select: select/table
- Then from table menu select: Table Prperties, and the Table
Properties dialogue box opens up
- To adjust the thickness of the lines, click the "Table " tab at
top and click the "borders and shading" button at the bottom and when
that dialogue box opens up, adjust the width of line with the "width"
drop-down box
- To adjust the size of the boxes, you have to first click the
"row" tab, check the "specify height" box and put in your
decimal value (.25 = 1/4 inch, .5 = 1/2 inch, etc.). Then do the
same in the
"column" tab. NOTE: If
for example with the document I have created, if you want to
increase the size of the squares on page one from 1/4" to
say .3", you will have to delete some of the columns to the
right(Table/delet/columns) , in order for the columns to fit and
when you make the rows .3,
some rows will jump to next page and you will have to delete them as
well.
