Gripper Gloves
Sombody on the list asked the other day about obtaining materials to make built-up cane grips for those with grip problems.  I was at my favorite Rehab supply outlet -- the dollar store -- buying myself some gloves to be used in my spring guardeing when I came across the ones pictured below.  They are of a stretchy knit material that is covered with a crosshatch on the outside of what appears to be lines of a silicone like material.  They might be a cheap and easy way to avoid buiding up the the cane and can be used as a rehab aid  -- opening jars and picking up small objects, for example.
